A plastic stool can be a useful add-on to a home-seating range: an occasional seat beside a vanity or in a bedroom, a simple extra seat for a small room, or a compact option for everyday household use. For importers, the useful question is which design, specifications and packing arrangement fit the target channel.

Start with the intended use and the product evidence. A lifestyle scene can help explain where a stool might fit, but it does not establish a load rating, safety certification or suitability as a step stool. Confirm those claims against model-specific test results before using them in sales materials.

1. Choose the product role before comparing styles

Plastic seating is not one uniform product. A one-piece PP stool, a ventilated-seat design and a cushioned stool solve different retail needs. Cushioned options can add a softer seat surface; a stackable profile can help save storage space between uses. Ask which customer need the item should serve, then compare the actual sample rather than choosing from a styled image alone.

MUBANG’s Home Seating range includes PP stools, cushioned stools and stackable designs. For example, PH-ST-003 is a one-piece PP stool with a ventilated seat, while PH-ST-004 pairs a PP body with a PVC seat cushion. PH-ST-005 has a PP body and a textured leather-look upholstered seat. These are separate models with separate specifications; do not treat their dimensions, materials or packing as interchangeable.

2. Check seat dimensions and model fit

Overall height alone is not enough. Confirm seat width or diameter, seat height, the footprint at the legs and any cushion dimensions. Compare these values with the intended shelf or retail listing, and review a physical sample if the buyer has a specific use or fit requirement.

The PH-ST-004 page lists an overall size of 35 × 35 × 49 cm and a 28 × 28 cm seat. PH-ST-005 is listed at 33 × 33 × 46 cm. These examples show why buyers should compare each SKU on its own dimensions instead of asking for a generic “plastic stool” quote.

3. Verify stacking in the sample and in the carton

“Stackable” should describe the supplied model and its actual nesting arrangement. Ask to see how the stools sit together, how many can be stacked without rocking, and whether the contact points mark or deform the seat. Check the stacked height and protective method for the order configuration.

Stacking may reduce storage space, but it does not by itself establish a particular carton quantity or shipping efficiency. Confirm those details on the packing specification for the selected model.

4. Confirm materials and seat-cover details

For a cushioned stool, record both the body material and the seat material. PH-ST-004 is listed as a PP body with a PVC seat cushion; PH-ST-005 is listed with a textured leather-look seat upholstery. Ask for the final material description, color reference and care guidance for the exact version being quoted. A digital color image is a reference, so confirm the final shade and availability for the order.

5. Request load evidence with test conditions

Do not rely on a broad “heavy-duty” label or infer capacity from the stool’s appearance. Ask for the model-specific load test result, loading method, duration, sample configuration and whether the result is internal or from an independent laboratory. If the sales channel requires a particular standard or report, agree on it before making a public load claim.

For the current stool range, load data must be confirmed through formal testing. Until the applicable result is available, leave the load capacity out of public copy, carton artwork and quotation comparisons.

6. Match carton data to the order quantity

Carton quantity and dimensions vary by stool. The PH-ST-004 page lists 6 stools per carton and a carton size of 46 × 46 × 66 cm; the carton gross weight is still pending final weighing. PH-ST-005 is listed as 8 stools per carton. Confirm final gross weight, packing protection and carton markings for the selected model before calculating freight or landed cost.

Ask for a packing list that states pieces per carton, outer-carton dimensions, net and gross weight, and whether any protective materials or retail packaging are included. Do not use one stool’s carton data to estimate another model.

7. Confirm customization and supply conditions

Before placing a private-label or wholesale order, list the requested color, seat or cushion material, logo, labels, instructions and packaging. Ask which items are confirmed for the chosen model, which require a sample, and which depend on production review. Confirm MOQ, lead time, sample cost and payment or delivery terms directly for the project; they are not assumed to be the same for every SKU.

MUBANG’s About page lists reference output of approximately 1,000 PP and upholstered stools per day, subject to the confirmed product and production plan. Treat this as a planning reference, then ask the team to confirm capacity and schedule for the exact model, quantity and order window.
